The Yorktown Community Schools Transportation Department will be committed to continually work towards the mission of safely transporting students to and from school, and school related functions in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Below you will find bus #’s, driver names & driver contact numbers for the Yorktown Community Schools Transportation Department.
Also listed, are popular streets within the Yorktown school boundary serviced by each bus number.
Current Students Bus Information
If you have been receiving bus service for the 2017 / 2018 school year, it is unlikely that your bus #, driver, or pick-up / drop-off time will change. If changes to
your route should be necessary, we will make every attempt to notify you.
New Students Bus Information
New students and those who have moved since the end of the 2017 / 2018 school year, are encouraged to contact the driver from the list below for approx. pick-up and drop-off times during the registration times posted at each building.

Please keep in mind that all times are approx., and subject to change until the registration process is complete.
Elementary - students grades K thru 5
Middle School/High School - students grade 6 thru 12.

Pick Up - Drop Off Times
Elementary school buses usually leave the lot between 6:30 AM and 6:45 AM.
Drop off of Pleasant View and Yorktown Elementary between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM.
Middle School and High School buses usually leave the lot @ the Transportation Building between 6:45 AM and 7:00 AM.
Drop off of Middle School and High School between 7:45 AM and 8:00 AM.
Elementary students will be required to present a note from a parent or school official to ride a bus other than the bus # assigned to them by the transportation department.
Please include a copy of this note to your child’s elementary teacher.
Also, be sure to include the destination address.
MS/HS students must also present a note from a parent or school official to ride a bus other than the bus # assigned by the transportation department.
Elementary students who are unable to enter their residence or students who have boarded the wrong bus, will be taken back to Latchkey at the end of the regular school bus route and parents will be notified.
Student Should Always
- Observe the same conduct as in the classroom
- Be Courteous, No Profane Language
- Eating and Drinking is not allowed on bus.
- Keep the bus clean, put trash where it belongs, in the wastebasket close to the driver.
- Co-operate with the driver
- Pencils, Pens and other objects should remain in the students back-pack
- Do Not be Destructive to School Property
- Stay seated in your seat. Keep the aisle clear
- Keep your head, hands and feet inside the bus
- Bus Driver will assign and re-assign seats as necessary
